Receivables management

Accounts receivable conversion and point-of-sale conversion

While your campus goes paperless, some of your customers (students, parents, and alumni) still use paper checks.

Now you can quickly and easily convert those checks into an electronic transaction by scanning them through our check reader at the retail site. With our point-of-sale conversion (POS), the check is voided and returned to the student, parent, or alumnus right there. No paper processing. No paper cuts. No problem.

If you want to avoid long lines, our accounts receivables conversion (ARC) allows payers to deposit their paper checks into an ARC drop box.

Benefits

  • Reduce check processing costs, labor costs, and bank fees: Check conversion eliminates the costly and time-consuming processing of paper checks. Your bank may also reduce or eliminate their fees.
  • Quicker processing times: POS check conversion shortens the time to get funds: Transactions are processed at the time of sale rather than when the paper check is received by the bank.
  • One-step non-sufficient funds (NSF) processing: Checks processed electronically can be resubmitted more quickly. You can get daily NSF reports to help you monitor returns and resubmits.
  • Reduce fraud: All your checks will be filtered through our ACH FRISK™ system. We continuously update an extensive negative account database to help eliminate fraudulent checks.
  • Consolidate reporting: Reports are available for viewing online 24/7 using the e-payment system.
